LDLC and AVANGAR have been invited to compete at the Bucharest Gaming Week Invitational by ESL, the tournament organisers have told HLTV.org.
Both teams are currently inside the top 20 and were in attendance at IEM Chicago, where LDLC earned the status of surprise package as they reached the playoffs after beating Renegades, North and NRG in their group's lower bracket.
AVANGAR flew to Chicago on the back of a semi-final appearance at EPICENTER but could not live up to expectations, crashing out of the tournament early following defeats to MOUZ and Luminosity.
The Bucharest Gaming Week Invitational by ESL will take place at the Romexpo indoor arena on December 9, with €50,000 (~$57,000) on offer. LDLC and AVANGAR will be joined by the ESL Southeast Europe Championship Season 8 champion and by the winner of an online qualifier featuring eight European sides.
